How to access the Data
We have released the atlasopenmagic
python package to facilitate the retrieval of URLs and metadata from our datasets.
We also offer the cernopendata-client
package, which provides a command line interface to access the data.
Direct access and download is also possible through via CERN Open Data portal.
We strongly suggest to use the atlasopenmagic
python package to retrieve metadata!

ποΈ The CERN Open Data Client
For remote data access, you can use the CERN Open Data Client, leveraging the xrootd protocol. This will allow you to retrieve the necessary URLs and access the data directly from CERNβs storage systems.
ποΈ The CERN Open Data Portal
You can explore the proton-proton data or the heavy ion data in the CERN Open Data portal. For more information about either of the collections, check the linked sections.
